The Inn @ TARA winery offers a unique vineyard and winery resort style experience. Discover TARA and the myths surrounding the secrets of the vines. Stay in the turn of the century mini-mansion once owned the Clint Murchison the founder of the Dallas Cowboys. The majestic mini-mansion has the original wood moldings, floors and grand wood interior doors, and very high ceilings. The grand staircase in front of the structure is made from the original brick from the fireplaces. The Inn is located on the first hilltop of the TARA estate and set high among the sprawling Blanc Du Bois grapevines, a view from every spacios balcony and window. The Inn has four four lovely private rooms and 2 bathrooms have jacuzzi tubs all rooms have very high ceilings and the rooms upstairs all have adjoining balconies. Enjoy gas fireplaces for a peaceful evening and retreat. There many common areas to sprawl out in mini-mansion. Enjoy the beauty of the turn of the century staircase shipped from Europe especially for this turn of the century mansion which lies in the grand foyer. Expansive decks wrap virtually all rooms. There are no phones and one TV and one pool table. (6000 sq foot structure with over 1500 sq. ft of outdoor decks).
Guests enjoy a complimentary winery tour and tasting and pampering by the TARA team. Enjoy fine dining experience at the Cellar Door. The Cellar Door is just a short stroll through the vineyard and is located at the winery.
Whole mini-mansion rental $800 plus hotel tax (up to eight people) and gratuity, additional charges apply for each additional guest over 8 people. Single rooms available on shorter notice and during the week for business and leisure guests/travellers.
TARA will customize your stay with as much or as little attention as you would desire.! You can chat with the TARA team family or get away and have a romantic secluded experience.

The Inn at TARA is unique vinyard/winery getways to EAST Texas Wine Country and is like a resort retreat/hotel and akin to a bed & breakfast. Perfectly suited for your fairytale wedding or romantic quiet stay. We like to think of the INN at TARA as the “gateway to East Texas wine country.”
The TARA cottage, just a short stroll from the winery and through the vineyard, past a small spring feed lake and through woods is a lovely 2 bedroom /2 bath cottage with accomodations for up to six TARA guests. Includes complimentary winery tour and tasting. This a lovely secluded cottage in the woods on the winery estate. The frogs have a lovely concert each evening after dark.
