Come and enjoy a culinary extravaganza at the Cellar Door (indoor and outdoor seating available).   TARA offers the finest cuts of aged meat, New Zealand lamb, fresh seafood, appetizers, specialty oils, salts and salads made from unique greens for your dining experience.  Every meal is handcrafted and prepared fresh to order and perfectly seasoned. Gourmet breakfast served personally by Chef Jeff is available by reservations only and for TARA overnight guests at the INN & Cottage.

The Cellar Door sits just the other side of the Winery’s barrel room and is separated by the beauty of the “Cellar Doors.”  These doors originate from Argentina and were handcrafted in the 19th century. The TARA team revamped the doors to suit the “Cellar Door”, these doors are beautiful and nicely compliment the overall dining environment. Up above, you’ll note the ongoing video of the restoration of the mini-mansion including footage of the largest home ever moved in Texas.  In the Cellar Door is the very special wine shaped Wine Bar handcrafted by the TARA team. Over the Bar sits hand made lamps made from TARA wine bottles.

On select evening, live music just above the wine bar … indoor deck of the Cellar Door. Thursday night live jazz while you wine and dine.

Jeff joined the TARA team in full force in January 2011. Jeff has many years of  experience in the Industry with training in Sardinia Italy with Sadinia kitchen style cooking, he also spent many years designing some of the best bars and restaurants in Dallas.  Jeff is supported by a great kitchen team ready to serve you some amazing  dishes @ the Cellar Door. Jeff is usually the one to meet and greet you to set the perfect tone for your culinary extravaganza @ the Cellar Door.
