We are a family operated winery & vineyard and the oldest winery in Henderson County.
Tara is located in East Texas approximately 75 miles southeast of Dallas and 5 miles NW of downtown Athens just 1 & 1/2 miles off HWY 175. For directions, please click on "contact us."

Tasting Room & Patio Summer Hours (Hours subject to change)
Monday- Saturday 11:30 a.m. to Sunset /Early evening.
Sunday: 2 p.m. to Sunset
Winery and patio are open by appointment at other times and evenings.
Winery & vineyard grounds are available for group gatherings, meetings, parties, and celebrations.
Special Tastings, Winery & barrel room tours arranged by appointment.
